The icon should link to the feed, not to the most recent item from it
When you click on a feed icon, it doesn't take you to the feed view (the lisitng in reverse chronological order). I think it should.

Automated feed recommendations based on programs/feeds I have rated
Something similar to Amazon or Netflix recommendations would be ideal.

We’re working on some interesting ways to do this. Hopefully in December.

Thinking about the best way to implement this one.

Make login interstitial
There are many places on the site where you need to remind people to login, but after they do so they end up on the home page. When this happens, the user should be returned to the page where they left off. (swo-182)

"Delete account" option
I don't expect ever to return to this site. I want to completely delete my account. (swo-184)

Give us OPML output so we can export our RSS feeds
We need OPML output so we can move our RSS subscriptions to other services and desktop clients.

Improve program titles in RSS feeds
When I subscribe to each feed separately, iTunes helps me keep track of where they came from. But when I subscribe to multiple feeds via a SpokenWord.org collection I lose the ability to distinguish programs according to their original source feed. Can you add the title of the feed to the title of the program so I can see it in the iTunes list? (swo-158)

Preserve the individual feed name in the aggregated RSS feed that goes to iTunes
In a regular iTunes podcast subscription list you see the podcast name and the names of the individual episode names underneath. If you subscribe to a SpokenWord myQueue feed you just see the episode names, because the podcast name is MyQueue. It is often hard to tell what podcast the episodes come from. Maybe the podcast name can be put in as a prefix to the episode name or description? Or there's some other field that could be abused to hold this information?

Add a "permanent login" option
Having a "remember me" option is realy useful on my personal computer that I always have control over.

Search via filename
The lowest common denominator for all podcatchers is the filename (via the enclosure URL)...there's currently no support to search via that, however.

List of "most-followed collections" on the homepage
Display a list of the most-followed collections on the homepage (swo-130)

Subscribed feeds stop adding new content to a collection
Around every 3 or 4 months, some casts stop appearing in my main queue collection. I have to unsubscribe to the feed and then resubscribe. At least it has happened to IT Conversations and Security Now.

Browsing by language AND quality
Seeing a program's language is great. But browsing throug it is important, too.

Include collection name in notification about new followers
We are now getting an email notification when someone starts following one of our collections.
This email should include the name of the collection.

"Delete collection" option
I would like to delete a collection that I had created but no longer use and no longer want attached to my account.

Show comments on the programme page (not just after clicking on them)
The comments on the programme page only show up after you click on "Show comments".
At least the most recent comments should show up on the initial page load, there is enough free space on he page.

Link to all my collections from the "Collections" menu bar
On the top page menu bar, we have "Collections>My Collection" which goes to you primary collection.
It would be nice to have all your collections listed there.
Right now, it takes four clicks to get to a secondary collection ("My SpokenWord", "created x collections", collection name to expand the search results, collection name again to go to the detail page).

Add programs to a feed
Sometimes an RSS feed doesn't contain all episodes of a podcast. It would be nice if I were able to add those episodes to the feed, instead of as a single program.

Follow a feed or collection without adding to any collection
Right now, you can follow a collection, which automatically adds all
new programmes in that collection (or feed) to your collection. This leads to huge collections.
It dilutes the quality of collections, and the meaning of the
collection count, because hand-picked collections are lumped in with
these auto-collections. (Huge collections also seem to have become a
performance head-ache)I propose that we remove the feature to add whole collections
automatically. There are two other important uses for following collections:
1) Create an aggregated feed out of all the source feeds.
2) The social aspect: Following a feed registers as a… more

Allow users to change the Language of programs
Some Programs have the wrong language. We'd fix it if we could edit that attribute.
