When resubmitting a feed show a link to the feeds page in SW
When submitting a feed, I'm probably interested in it, and will want to add it to a collection so it would be nice to have a direct link to the feeds page within Spokenword.org

embedded RSS feeds, for instance for ITConversations, should be searchable via the global search
I'm using my collections RSS feed to list interesting podcasts in my blog's sidebar. I'd found a few, and then was surprised that I couldn't find recent ITConversations podcasts.
I've discovered that SpokenWords incorporates ITConversations by RSS feed, i.e. http://www.spokenword.org/feed/1
so I was able to find the podcast I wanted. But some folks won't be so persistent, and the RSS listing can't be searched. Luckily, the podcast I wanted was on the first screen.1 vote -
Subscribed feeds stop adding new content to a collection
Around every 3 or 4 months, some casts stop appearing in my main queue collection. I have to unsubscribe to the feed and then resubscribe. At least it has happened to IT Conversations and Security Now.

The icon should link to the feed, not to the most recent item from it
When you click on a feed icon, it doesn't take you to the feed view (the lisitng in reverse chronological order). I think it should.

Better control over a collection's order
I have a collection which is an ordered list:
http://www.spokenword.org/playlist/3524
That is, these programs are sequential and should be played back in a certain order.
Not only can't I reorder them, but iTunes displays them in a different order.

Include collection name in notification about new followers
We are now getting an email notification when someone starts following one of our collections.
This email should include the name of the collection.

Add programs to a feed
Sometimes an RSS feed doesn't contain all episodes of a podcast. It would be nice if I were able to add those episodes to the feed, instead of as a single program.

Allow subscription to sub-feeds of master feeds
A case in point is the master feed of IT Conversations. I would like to be able to subscribe to the individual sub feeds such as Tech Nation or Interviews with Innovators etc. To be able to distinguish and browse them individually away from the main IT Converstions feed would also be great.

You can do this already. For example, Tech Nation is available at http://www.spokenword.org/feed/6922 If there’s an IT Conversations feed you can’t find, go ahead and add it to our database using the Submit window. The system is supposed to properly deal with the fact that the same program(s) appear in multiple feeds.

Preserve the individual feed name in the aggregated RSS feed that goes to iTunes
In a regular iTunes podcast subscription list you see the podcast name and the names of the individual episode names underneath. If you subscribe to a SpokenWord myQueue feed you just see the episode names, because the podcast name is MyQueue. It is often hard to tell what podcast the episodes come from. Maybe the podcast name can be put in as a prefix to the episode name or description? Or there's some other field that could be abused to hold this information?

Reduce time lag Spokenword website and my queue rss
If I change my Spokenword queue, it takes quite a while for the RSS to update. I can't just go straight to my podcatcher and download the new podcasts I have selected.

Keep the search term, when switching to advanced search
Currently, when I start a search from the home page, I get to the Search Results page. That is fine - the search term is kept.
Then there is a link "Advanced Search". When I click on it, I get to the Advanced Search page (titled "Object Search"???) and the search term is replaced by "Enter search text here."I consider this to be big usability flaw. I now know to copy my old search term in advance to the clipboard and then paste it again, but please "Don't make me think!".

Make it easy to move a feed from one collection to another
I thought of collections as a means of organizing my feeds, just like folders of a file system or like tagging in gmail. Currently, there is no direct way, to move/copy a feed or program from one collection to another. Please establish this.

Link to all my collections from the "Collections" menu bar
On the top page menu bar, we have "Collections>My Collection" which goes to you primary collection.
It would be nice to have all your collections listed there.
Right now, it takes four clicks to get to a secondary collection ("My SpokenWord", "created x collections", collection name to expand the search results, collection name again to go to the detail page).
